Saint Simon is the story of Chulo and a child born as a result of a violent act.

Fe/female lead: hispanic, 18-25, smart, grounded, educated, grows up in a bad neighborhood in new york city, has a chance of getting out of the city until she is attacked

Santi/male supporting: hispanic, 25-40, sarcastic, bold partner in crime brother to the lead character Chulo, destined for a life of crime in the hood, will commit any act to get what he wants

Merce/female supporting: Hispanic, 40ish, protective mother to Fe, wants what is best for her daughter, does not like Chulo

Woman/female day player: hispanic, 40-50, beautiful (if only by character), eloquent, heart-broken mother to son that got killed by neighborhood crime

male supporting & day players: hispanic/non-hispanic, 20-45, hoods, detective, cop, store owner, tattoo artist, suburban boy
